Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Charity initiatives

Adecco Group actively encourages its employees to take part in fundraising activities for a number of worthwhile causes.  This not only helps the wider community, but also strengthens the relationship between all of our international offices.

Win4Youth

In 2010, Adecco colleagues from around the globe united in support of six foundations; all focused on educating and integrating young people into the labour market across India, Haiti, Chile, France, Spain and the USA.

As a Group, we covered a grand total of 228,002 km - more than five laps around the world.  Here in the UK, employees clocked up a national total of 18,601 km and across the pond, 61 Adecco colleagues completed the legendary New York City marathon; adding a further 2,574 km to the Group’s encouraging total.

This year, Adecco has once again united its colleagues for an exciting new challenge.  In support of three Win4Youth foundations, we will cycle 500,000 km – a truly impressive 12 laps around the world!

And to help reach this goal, 70 Adecco employees will take on France’s mammoth Mont Ventoux - one of the most gruelling climbs in the Tour de France - in September 2011.

For every 5 kilometres cycled in a group of at least three colleagues and/or clients, Adecco Group will donate 1 US dollar.  So if you’d like to get involved, get in touch.

Nominated charities

We are also proud to operate a national charity of the year programme, where employees are given the opportunity to vote from a shortlist of nominated charities.

Great Ormond Street Hospital and Help for Heroes

This year, employees from Adecco Group UK&I voted in favour of two charities.

  • Great Ormond Street Hospital
  • Help for Heroes

These causes were chosen for the genuine difference they make to people’s lives.
To raise money for our charities of the year, colleagues take part in such activities as sporting events, pub quizzes, coffee mornings, bake offs, and monthly dress down days.

Paralympics GB

In honour of Adecco’s commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic Games, we pledged our support to Paralympics GB in 2009, and continue to support this charity through career development programmes and fundraising initiatives.

Paralympics GB is responsible for selecting, preparing, entering, funding and managing Britain's teams at the Paralympic Games and Paralympic Winter Games.
