Chris Moore
Managing Director
Chris Moore was appointed Managing Director of Group Solutions in October 2009. Before joining Adecco Group UK&I, he worked as Divisional Head of niche software house Active Web Solutions; and prior to that, held a series of senior roles at Kelly Services — joining as Account Director and progressing through the ranks to Vice President and Regional General Manager for the UK and Ireland. In this role, Chris built and developed the UK Board of Directors, facilitated the development of a comprehensive business plan, and led the creation and implementation of a major change management programme.
In his early career, Chris spent several years working in the media for the Sunday Times and News International, and began his recruitment career at Manpower plc.
Niki Turner-Harding
Director of Strategic Accounts
Niki Turner-Harding has more than 15 years of experience in the recruitment industry — the last two of which have been spent with Adecco. Currently working as the Director of Strategic Accounts, Niki is responsible for the management of a team of Account Directors and Managers who look after some of our most prestigious clients; including Bank of America, Xerox, Mars, Barclays, 3M, Kodak, Premier Foods and Steria.
Niki’s wealth of knowledge — coupled with her experience of the staffing sector — gives her an understanding of the day-to-day challenges facing our operations, and a determined ability to making sure that we deliver service excellence to our portfolio of strategic customers, and the 6,000+ temporary workers that we manage.
Paul Sharpe
Head of Adecco UK Group Sales
Having originally spent 15 years in the Retail sector, Paul has a natural ability to see a situation through the eyes of the customer and support corporate businesses in building HR solutions. He recently spent 3 years in the HRO sector as Head of Recruitment for Xchanging, enabling him to experience first hand the how agencies operate and the value they bring to resourcing. During his tenure he implemented a full end to end RMS, transitioned the in-house service externally and implemented a number of unbundled recruitment and HR services to the external market. Prior to this Paul spent 6 years with Adecco and in this time he has held a number of senior sales, operational and corporate roles. He has a vast array of corporate experience with a number of large blue chip organisation such as GE, RBS, Barclays, Siemens, Orange, Fujitsu and Shop Direct.
Paul is responsible for all our solutions and sales for the Adecco Group in the UK. Recognising that one size rarely fits all, Paul and his team utilises the vast wealth of experience and infrastructure afforded by the Adecco Group, to build bespoke recruitment solutions.
Derek Traynor
Director of Implementation
Derek has more than 14 years’ management experience within the recruitment industry — 11 of which have been spent with Adecco in various positions, including Account Director and Business Development Director for Adecco UK.
As Director of Implementation, Derek has overseen the successful transition of more than 10,000 temporary staff from existing agencies over to Adecco, supported various key implementation projects, and introduced key process improvements and efficiencies.
His role includes managing our 2nd tier supplier base and introducing technology solutions as part of new account implementation.
Andy Smith
Head of Regulation and Employment
Andy is responsible for co-ordinating Adecco Group’s response to legislative developments, such as the UK’s implementation of the EU Agency Workers Directive.
As an Adecco Group employee for more than 20 years, Andy has held various positions within the Group’s Legal and HR functions. He is a member of the CIPD and has an LL.M (with distinction) in employment law from Middlesex University.
