Managed Service Programmes

Our flexible managed service programmes are designed to deliver an overall reduction in costs whilst increasing productivity; and cover all professional and non-professional skill sets, from clerical, call centre, and industrial, through to IT, finance, and engineering. Leveraging the power of our market leading brands, we provide capability across the entire recruitment lifecycle, including direct hires and payroll.

Often based on site, our teams develop an excellent understanding of your business and its recruitment needs. We ease the administrative burden of managing recruitment activity by providing an accessible single point of contact to manage the supplier base ― allowing you to focus on your core business.

Under this model, we can engage second-tier suppliers at lower margins ― in turn reducing cost-per-hire. This may take the form of risk/reward or gain-share pricing models, which are closely linked to service levels and performance.

The pricing models that we put into place motivate our staff and suppliers to improve on the quality of delivery and service excellence.

The two standard managed services are as follows:

Master vendor (MV)

As master vendor, we take absolute responsibility for your staffing requirements; typically fulfilling these through Adecco Group’s own specialist brands. If this isn’t possible, we turn to our 2nd tier network of alternate suppliers to ensure your needs are met. This model helps to improve contract compliance, eliminate ‘rogue’ spend, standardise pricing and rate cards, minimise employment risks, and achieve a single service level agreement, through such methods as time capture, consolidated invoicing and a vendor management system.

Neutral Vendor (NV)

Our neutral vendor model differs from that of the master vendor offering in the way that vacancies are managed. Under this model, we pass all new positions to our 1st tier suppliers at the same time; meaning that our delivery arm receives no preferential treatment. Vacancies are then cascaded to our 2nd tier suppliers if the pre-agreed 1st tier lead-time period passes, or if the vacancy is flagged as business critical.

The benefits of these models include:
  • One point of contact for the entire recruitment process
  • Consolidation of supplier base
  • Lower margins
  • Investment in e-commerce
  • Cost saving initiatives (direct/indirect)
  • On-site support, which leads to a better understanding of your business
  • Service levels that are tied into pricing models to help incentivise performance
  • Quicker time to hire
