Adecco Public Sector is supporting one of its key clients who are looking to bring on an Infrastructure Engineer for an initial 6 month contract with very likely extensions. The role will work within the organisations Infrastructure Team supporting BAU as well as some key projects. The role will offer a hybrid working set up but does require 2 to 3 days per week working on site in Derby.

To be considered for the role you will need to have the following skills and experience:

** Technical experience equivalent to MCSE/MCSA in server support with evidence of continued professional development
** Knowledge of telephony systems and applications
** Extensive experience of server hardware,operating systems and applications software including configuration, delivery and installation
** Significant experience of working in a user support environment
** Experience of server and storage technology
** Experience of telephony services
** Experience of applying the principles of ITIL
** Incident Management, Problem Management and Change and Release Management
** Experience of producing high quality systems documentation
** Significant server and peripherals hardware knowledge
** Extensive knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office and Internet services
** Network Architecture and Protocols sufficient for incident resolution
** Significant server hardware and software knowledge
** Knowledge of Microsoft Server operating systems including Active Directory
** Understanding of virtualisation technology and techniques
** Understanding of inter-relationships between aspects of IT and Telephony infrastructure and service support requirements

Please note that this role falls inside IR35 so will suit someone who is happy to work via an Umbrella Company.
