Our client based in Sutton Coldfield are recruiting for an individual to establish and develop relationships with existing and new suppliers. The successful person will ensure that suppliers meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering products and services on time.


Source New Products to Expand our Existing Portfolio

  • Compare competitor websites

  • Explore new & exciting products to list within health, sports & convenience categories

  • Liaise with Sales Team to understand customer requests for new products

  • Establish if this a brand which fits our demographic

  • Obtain further information such as, where is the brand currently stocked, do they have other wholesalers? Price point, profit margins & Marketing support available

  • Coordinate new product sample sessions with team

New Product Listing Process

  • Send listing forms & other documentation, ensuring these are completed correctly

  • List product on internal admin and accounts systems

  • Work with supplier & internal depts. to create product launch plan

  • Communicate with the sales & marketing team of new products listed, key selling points, launch plans & advise warehouse of new products & deliveries etc.

  • Promote new products on social media

Liaise with Existing Suppliers

  • Look for gaps in the range and list products we're missing

  • Measure brand performance & work with supplier to increase sales

  • Work with supplier to set up joint business plans

  • Provide sales data & reports to supplier at scheduled times & on request

  • Manage product samples coming in and out of building


  • Manage promotion submissions from suppliers & liaise with purchasing in doing so

  • Learn how to set offers & discounts up on admin system

  • Upload artwork where necessary

  • Check & test discounts are set up correctly

  • Arrange targeted promotions with suppliers, supplying reports & feedback

  • Measure success of promotions

  • Mathematical skills

  • Commercial awareness

  • Multi-tasker & exceptional organisational skills

  • Aware of social media platforms & ability to post
