Our client based on the outskirts of Selby offers their clients a bespoke studio facility for filmmaking and due to workload are looking for Part Time Accounts Assistant.

Pay Rate for this position is £12.65 to £14.30 per hour


Hours will Part Time over 2 days


As an Accounts Assistant your responsibilities will include;




  • Logging and processing purchase orders and invoices

  • Create new supplier accounts

  • Dealing with Supplier queries

  • Processing & paying supplier invoices

  • Reconciliation of supplier statements

  • Sales Ledger - raising invoices/credit notes

  • Liaising with the internal teams to resolve any invoicing issues

  • Payment allocation

  • Assistance with Customer queries & Credit control when required

  • Cashbook processing

  • Petty Cash, expenses and credit card processing

  • Timesheet control

  • Payroll duties

  • Maintenance of spreadsheets and databases

  • Assist with reconciling & controlling balance sheet accounts

  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required.



The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:



  • Have a working knowledge of Sage 50

  • Experience within a similar role

  • Flexibility towards work allocated

  • A systematic and methodical approach with attention to detail

  • Good excel skills

  • Ability to work within a team to meet deadlines

  • Good telephone manner and customer relations skills.

  • Personable with excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
