£20,500 p.a

Full time, Monday-Friday

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients global business for an exciting new role as an Accounts Receivable/Sales Ledger Assistant based in Tiverton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a small accounts team with the backing of a large company. This role will be responsible for:

  • Completing the full invoice process

  • Manage the inbox communication & respond as appropriate

  • Regularly reviewing & uploading of all relevant invoices & receipts to ensure payment is received promptly.

  • Investigate & resolve any anomalies

  • Setting up accounts for the company on internal computer systems

  • Monitoring and invoicing of applications for payment raised by the Project Team, ensuring that all the income is invoiced in a timely manner and the project orders are reconciled on AX

  • Ensure retention payments are applied for and invoiced as appropriate

  • Raising credit notes and billing invoices to correct order processing errors and resolve customer account issues.

  • Customer statements - monthly and ad-hoc

  • Run the weekly dunning letter process

  • Provide excellent customer service whilst proactively seeking to resolve outstanding balances, queries, and credit balances to avoid them ageing

Ideal skills/experience

* Recent accounts experience including purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations
* Good IT skills and recent experience of SAP or AX would be ideal
* Strong communication skills both written & verbal
* You will need to be organised & proactive and enjoy being in a busy, varied role
* A desire to learn and grow your accounts knowledge and skills!
