Position: Accounts Assistant (Temporary)

Location: Welwyn Garden City

Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

Hourly Rate: £11 p/h

My client based in Welwyn Garden City is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy business. They are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals with a passion for quality and service on a temporary basis will potentially extending the assignment.


  • Posting on Purchase Ledger Invoices

  • Full credit control - debt chasing, statements, queries etc.

  • Company credit card expenses - tying up receipts with statements and posting to Xero

  • Credit card reconciliation.

  • Petty cash expenses - checking reconciliation & posting to Xero

  • Assist with various monthly balance sheet reconciliations

  • General administrative duties as and when required

  • Able to help in other parts of the business such as payroll and credit control.


  • Candidate must have experience in Xero

  • Proficient in Word/Excel/Email

  • Good communication skills

  • Attention to detail and accurate
