Sales Ledger Controller/Accounts Assistant- Mildenhall- £22,000-£25,000


We are currently recruiting for our stable and established Chemical Manufacturing client based in Mildenhall for a Sales Ledger Controller/Accounts Assistant to join their great team!



Main Responsibilities:


Sales Ledger:


Sales Invoicing, Sales Statements, Credit Control, Credit Scoring, Maintaining various Sales Analysis Reports.


Accounts Assistant:


Daily Cash Postings, Bank Reconciliations, Preparation Quarterly VAT Submissions, Preparation Monthly Accruals & Prepayment Journals, Maintaining Fixed Asset Register, Preparation of GRNI Report, Posting of Monthly Journals, Maintaining various Analysis Reports.


General:


Stationery Orders, Assist with Reception Duties, Assist with Telephone Answering, Assisting Company Management Accountant and Finance Department with ad hoc tasks.


Qualifications and Experience:



  • Qualified on AAT level.

  • Strong IT skills in particular MS Excel.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.

  • Exceptional eye for detail and accuracy.

  • Can demonstrate effective communications at all levels.

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

  • Experience in Accounts/Finance Role.


Hours of Work:


Monday to Thursday 09:00 to 17:00 - 28 hours per week.


Salary:


Salary band is between £22,000 to 25,000 depending on qualifications and experience.


Holiday:


19 days +Bank Holidays
