I am currently recruiting for an Experience Accounts Assistant to join a lovely team based in Liverpool. Your main responsibility is to contribute to the provision of a quality, responsive finance service throughout the Trust. This is a temporary position for approximately 3 months with the opportunity to apply for more of a permanent role within the trust.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (flexible)

Main Duties:

  • Ensuring that accurate financial information is produced on a timely basis.

  • Assist the Management Accounts team in offering financial advice and guidance

  • Assist in the month end financial reporting process.

  • Provide administrative support to the Management Accounts team as well as the Deputy Director of Finance.

  • Assist in the production of financial forecast trends

  • Assist in the creation of systems

  • Assist in the updating of the financial ledger

  • Undertake ad hoc budget investigations

  • Sending out of budget statements and nominal rolls as required by the timetable.

  • Maintaining the integrity of the Trust's financial systems

  • Observe the procedures and policies set out

  • Ensure that basic transactions are prepared and entered accurately

  • Contribute to the delivery of its overall objectives

  • General administration duties; such as filing and sorting/recording post.

  • Routinely maintaining excel spreadsheet database files

It is essential that you have strong Excel skills, data entry and Teams experience and slight knowledge of finance (not essential).
