JOB TITLE: Accreditation Officer


PAY RATE: £18.24 to £23.61


DURATION: 3 months +

Our client within Public Sector is looking is for an Accreditation Officer.

* To visit various sites to conduct inspections under the WLA Accreditation Scheme Inspection Framework.
* To support WLA Commissioners to effectively manage the Supported Accommodation market
* To contribute to the monitoring of service provision and accreditation compliance.

* To contribute to the monitoring of providers and services. This will include interviewing Responsible Individuals, care staff, directors, Trustees and proprietors of semi independence agencies, supported lodging's agencies and hostel/foyers.
* To administrate a Suspension & Barring Panel and a Planning & Development Group for the Accreditation Scheme
* To manage and ensure the maintenance of administration systems and information systems that will facilitate the collection and collation of meaningful information and statistics
* To liaise with relevant commissioning and business teams on matters in relation to providers of services.
* To assist the development of and implement policies and procedures associated with the management of the purchasing functions and service contracting.
* To inspect & monitor service provision and accreditation compliance, co-ordinating the input of young people & professionals from a number of disciplines and to give procedural advice.
* Regular reporting to management and local authority partners on the accreditation scheme i.e. numbers accredited, number of applicants, trends.
* To work within an equality and diversity framework as required by legislation and local policy.
* Ad hoc projects, workstreams as required by the service
