I am currently looking for an Activity/Project Manager, to work for a major FMCG company based on the Slough Trading Estate.

This role will be responsible for the successful delivery of a range of market activities. Activities including consumer or customer led events requiring Activity Brief (AB) and Execution Recommendation (ER) approval, including new packs, pack or product changes and on-pack promotions.

6 month contract

33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)

The role:

  • Leadership of projects from initial project request to completion in market, meeting critical KPIs against the CBU strategy.

  • Lead ATGs (Activity Task Groups - the project teams required to deliver our planned activities) to ensure that the activity objectives, key deliverable and critical success criteria are agreed and met. Be the "voice of reason" having a non-biased view. Ensure the ATG comes to the right conclusion about the project which may require managing crucial conversations.

  • Champion the QuEST process including approval submissions, and +3 reviews implementing and sharing learnings with relevant stakeholders.

  • Create and manage project timelines with functional input from ATG members, identifying the critical path steps, key decision points and issues that may require escalations.

  • Effective Risk Management and communication to stakeholder in the appropriate forums

Experience required:

Knowledge: Basic project management skills (e.g. construction of a timeline)

Education: Degree educated (pref)
