We have an exciting opportunity to work within a very well known University based in Central London. They are looking for an Administrator who can work 28 hours per week. Ideally you will work everyday with reduced hours. This role will be starting asap and is currently running until the 2nd August 2019 paying £14.06 per hour.


We are looking for someone who can provide a broad range of administrative support in a busy environment. The ideal skills and experience that we think are required to do the job are:



  • Educated to degree level, if not then someone educated to A level (or equivalent) with 3 years+ office experience

  • Ideally, administrative experience within Higher Education, if not the a broad experience of administrative support

  • Ideally, someone who has experience of administrating/developing a website (using Contensis), if not then someone who has experience of maintaining websites using a program such as WordPress

  • Experience of working, and willingness to work, supportively, flexibly and effectively within a small administrative team

  • Experience of supporting events and/or course programmes

  • A high level of literacy and excellent grammar. Ability to draft documents and correspondence with accuracy, showing good presentational skills and an eye for detail

  • Sound organisational skills, an ability to manage a varied workload and a responsive, flexible attitude

  • Sound IT skills with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Ability to deal tactfully, effectively and with discretion with staff at all levels and with students
