Adecco are very excited to be working with a Custom Clearance company based in Dover. In their newly renovated offices this is a really exciting time to join their growing team.


You will be working in an open plan office and this company really do believe in work hard, play hard. The office is a relaxed and friendly environment and has a real team feel.


Our client is open to candidate with experience or trainee clearance clerks. If you are applying with no customs experience then you must have admin experience.



Responsibilities:



  • Calculate and process custom declarations - some declarations can have up to 100 items - so attention to detail is crucial.

  • Calculate duty and VAT for imports and exports in a timely manner.

  • Work closely with other team members to ensure declarations are completed correctly.


We are looking for candidates that are quick learners and are keen to work for an exciting and growing company.



Benefits:



  • Monday to Friday working ONLY

  • 8.30am - 5.00pm or 9.00am - 5.30pm

  • 1 hour PAID lunch

  • 20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
