JOB TITLE: Admin Officer
LOCATION: Ealing, West London/ Remote working
PAY RATE: £ 13.77 paye
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION/Hours: 3 month initial contract/ 35 hours a week

Purpose of the role:
- To deliver a quality administrative service within the Child Protection Administration team. Ensuring the delivery of a responsive service by reacting to and meeting a range of fluctuating pressures and daily demands by adhering to deadlines and targets.
Key accountabilities:
- To carry out all duties and responsibilities with due regard to the clients Equalities & Diversity Policy, Health & Safety, Customer Care requirements and within all legislative, regulatory and departmental policies
- To advise on the administrative processes associated with Case Conferences and refer to the appropriate officer.
- To be responsible for the accuracy, updating and distribution of the child protection register to the statutory agencies. To assist in the maintenance of the Child Protection register ensuring accuracy.
- To collate, compile and maintenance of management information systems for scheduled reporting.
- To process and maintain client records, both manual and computerised, in line with departmental procedures
- To process and distribute appropriately incoming and outgoing correspondence including faxes. To ensure that post is allocated for action in staff absence.
- To arrange, take minutes and service specified meetings including typing, presentation and distribution of minutes.
- To provide a specified WP service to include the devising and setting up of templates using standard software packages.
Knowledge and experience:
- Ability To deal with enquiries from members of the public, staff and external agencies in a helpful and customer-focused manner.
- Ability to assess and analyse information for accuracy, data quality and consistency. * (To be tested)
- Ability to manipulate a database to provide information/reports
- Proven knowledge and experience of coordinating meetings/conferences and taking accurate minutes*.

- Knowledge and experience in the use of a variety of ICT applications, including Word and Excel (to be tested).
- Public sector background is desirable
