Administration Clerk

Adecco are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a High School in Chester for an Administration Clerk to work part time on an ongoing basis.

Salary - £10.39 per hour

Hours - Any day between Monday to Friday, working only 5 Hours per week. Must be flexible to work around important meetings which often include after school finishes, most likely around 4pm. Remaining hours are worked from home typing up minutes from meetings.

Location - Chester

Duration - Ongoing


  • Flexible working - flexible start and finish times, 50% home/office working

  • Free on site parking

  • Part-time hours

The role:

The Clerk provides comprehensive advice on governance and education legislation alongside administrative support for Governors, especially the Chair and Headteacher.

Skills & Requirements:

  • You will need strong organisational skills have the ability to prioritise your workload in line with strict deadlines.

  • A committed approach and the ability to work on your own initiative is essential.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required together with excellent customer service skills.

  • Previous experience and knowledge of the workings of Governing Boards is desirable, however training will be provided.
