Adecco are looking for experienced administrators to join our public sector client based in Newcastle area. These are temporary ongoing positions that could lead to a permanent role for the right person. Working hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm ( flexible if needed). Hourly rate of pay from £10.67ph.

The successful applicants will work as part of a small team, who will work across various departments to provide an effective and efficient administration service to staff. Post holders will provide administrative support relating to programmes, assessment, quality assurance and complaints processes and procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide information and guidance to customers, staff and external stakeholders, dealing with enquiries in a professional and timely manner on matters relating to programmes and procedures.

  • Set up and maintain individual records for people and Continuous Professional Development programmes.

  • Prepare information and handbooks in liaison with the appropriate colleague.

  • Produce course participant lists and supporting documents in advance of each course commencing

  • Upload relative materials and publish assessments

  • Collate draft assessment documents from colleagues and liaise with external examiners regarding the approval of these.

  • To undertake activities related to exam board preparation and support.

  • To provide appropriate administrative support for Extenuating Circumstances

  • Work with the relevant colleagues to implement adjustments for disabled people who have declared adjustments

  • Enter marks onto the SCIMS system and undertake entry adjustments in relation to late assessment submissions.

  • Actively participate in the organisation and running of events such as open days, clearing, induction and other events.

  • Assist the Conduct Officer in the processing of cases including updating SCIMS with investigation outcomes and ensuring that appropriate reassessment provision is available in accordance with investigation outcomes.

  • Collating responses and reports from module teams and preparing summary reports for consideration at the relevant committees.

Work flexibly within the team, providing colleagues with general assistance and support to ensure the effective day-to-day operation of administrative service.
