We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader / Supervisor to lead a team of Sales Administrators in a busy, corporate environment.



The main focus of the Team Leader role is to manage and encourage your team to successfully provide effective administrative support to the Sales Teams. To ensure that team members are motivated, efficient and adopting best practises in their roles. Also that all elements of the sales administration & sales support processes are fully understood and being complied with.




  • Ensure that quality is championed within the team



  • Manage the working practices & targets set within the team and carry out appraisals, 1-2-1s and team meetings within the agreed time-scales.

  • Identify training needs and train team where needed whilst also supporting and developing staff through the careers ladders.

  • Manage capacity of team and recruitment of new staff.



  • Work closely with other departments such as credit, procurement, pricing etc to ensure current and future customer requirements are met to an excellent level.



  • Ensure that team members operate within the business processes and controls at all times



  • Work with Sales Operations Manager and Sales Project Manager to improve internal operational performance

  • Provide detailed MI within the required time scales, and any additional MI upon request.



The job holder will have a strong understanding of the sales support process and a keen commercial awareness. The job holder will also be an excellent communicator, organiser and have excellent prioritisation skills.
