Customer Service Officer

Hybrid working (office and remote)

3-month initial assignment

36 hours a week

ASAP Start

£15.60 hourly paye

Purpose of the position:

Supporting the Compliance Team by providing a comprehensive administration service to the service including maintaining accurate records, dealing with correspondence and post, facilitating team meetings and meetings for operational managers, processing contractor's invoices in line with the Ealing council policies and procedures.

Knowledge and experience:

  1. Knowledge of Microsoft packages especially Excel and Access. Develop and maintain IT skills as required for the post.

    2. Ability to analyse various data

    3. Committed to delivering a customer focused service

    4. Ability to work across a broad and diverse operational service

    5. Ensure administration systems are maintained to a high standard, taking direct action where required to correct records and providing support to responsive repair colleagues to ensure they understand their responsibilities for accurate record keeping.

    6. Able to assist with collating financial information

    7. Ability to be a good and thorough organiser and methodical record keeper.

    8. Capable of working, flexibly, alone and on own initiative to meet work deadlines.

    9. Demonstrates tact and diplomacy, impartial and even-handedness in all dealings with customers and colleagues.

    10. The ability to collate, analyse, interpret and present data and information.

    11. Demonstrates a high standard of service to customers and colleagues and proven communication skills

    12. The ability to work with other internal services and external bodies including community and voluntary groups, private sector partners and government agencies.

    13. Ability to work within a highly motivated team and organisational culture and to be able to develop effective working relationships.

    14. Knowledge of health and safety, and equality and diversity issues.
