Location: Alton, Hampshire

Hours: 9.00 am-5.00 pm 35 hours a week

Our esteemed client based in Alton and is based in the Charity sector, they are are seeking an well organised and empathetic experienced administrator to support their Patient Grants Manager.

-The main purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the office administrative and grant functions of the charity and assiting the Patient Grants Manager to deliver its charitable objectives.

The post holder will be taking responsibility for administering all grants and travel to patients, including letter writing, completing payments including issuing cheques and completing financial movements.

- First point of contact for telephone calls into the charity, forwarding details of callers onto counsellors or relevant departments. This will sometimes require sensitive questioning.

- Contacting patients and social workers to obtain relevant information and updating databases accordingly

- Data input

- Maintaining good relationships with advocates and all personnel related to the charity

- Dating and distribution of post

- Arranging couriers

- Assisting in collating larger orders of items for events such as conferences and charitable events

-Archiving of patient files

-Documenting office processes

-Any other reasonable tasks
