To assist Pensions Manager and Pensions Administration Manager as necessary in the ongoing governance requirements and strategic arrangement for the pensions plans.

The Role will involve organisation of meetings, preparation of meeting packs, minute taking, maintaining training logs, data entry, electronic document filing and organisation, responding to email queries and on occasion preparing spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Attendance at meeting where the incumbent will take minutes and prepare actions. Ensuring all attendees, internal and external or meetings have responded to invites and that all papers are ready for the meeting and the Pensions Manager has everything required to attend meetings

  • Liaison with Trustee Board directors is required, and this can be on a daily basis. Fielding queries from members, Trustees and external agencies, answering where possible and escalating to other members of the pensions department if appropriate

  • Reviewing and preparing PowerPoint presentations for the Pensions Manager to ensure they are professional


  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office product, in particular Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Used to deal with individuals at varying different levels.

  • Educated to A level standard with an eye for detail and a desire to ensure a quality service is provided.

  • Calm, collected and work under pressure

Location: Coventry (office in Coventry) **Remote working, as/when needed in office**

Duration: End of 2022 (potential extension dependant on client)

Work Pattern: Monday - Friday 9-5pm (no weekends!!)

Hours: 37.5 hours full time

Rate: Competitive
