Our client an independent safety and economic regulator for Britain's railways and Highways England is currently recruiting for an Administrator, pay £12.08ph-£12.44ph, start ASAP, duration until end of March 2022, hours Mon-Fri 37 per week. This role is a hybrid working role and the location of the office is Canary Wharf area.


**Please note due to the nature of the client, the successful candidate will be required to go through a DBS clearance ahead of starting the role**


Key responsibilities;



  • Assist the team with the effective delivery of our clients statutory function to process train driver licences, including managing applications received within deadlines and to standards including updating medicals on the driver licence records

  • Provide general administration support to the central support team including the Director of Railway Safety. Including room bookings, photocopying and printing, catering requests, travel and accommodation bookings;

  • Support the team in providing cover for the Emergency Contact Officer phone during the day;

  • Support the Central Support Team Manager in managing the railway safety finance duties, making sure invoices are paid within the prompt payment target of 10 days, purchase orders are prepared and recorded correctly;
