Adecco are proud to be recruiting on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary for a Custody Suite Administrator.



The purpose of this role is to provide administrative and logistical assistance to Criminal Justice Support and Operations Unit's



Salary: £10.08 p/hour


Hours: Monday - Friday, office hours


Duration: Initially a temporary contract with potential to go permanent


Location: Runcorn

Key Requirements:



  • Monitor custody suite consumables stock levels, identifying usage and requirements and taking responsibility for ordering as appropriate to ensure operational demands can be met.

  • Support Custody Investigation Team (CIT) with the Evidential Drug Identification Test (EDIT) and Property room.

  • Monitor the number of HM Immigration detainees identifying associated costs, raising invoices and managing the cost recovery process.

  • Proactively deal with any Criminal Justice and Custody related correspondence responding directly if possible and appropriate otherwise distributing to relevant colleagues.



Key Skills:



  • Excellent Administration and Customer Service skills.

  • Must be comfortable with manual handling.

  • IT literate.
