Adecco are proud to be recruiting on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary for an Administrator to join their Witness Care Team at Runcorn Police Station until the end of March 2022.

The purpose of the role is to provide dedicated support to the Witness Care Officer and deliver effective contact with victims and witnesses in criminal cases within the Criminal Justice system.

You will be a vital part of the Criminal Justice system providing witnesses with timely updates. The role will be responsible for obtaining witnesses availability, cleansing of witness data and an administrative function of the unit.

Key Duties:

  • Triage new cases onto the Witness Management System

  • Contact victims / witnesses to obtain witness availability, and updating the Witness Management System

  • Liaise with the Crown Prosecution Service

  • Management of the witness care mailbox

  • Maintain Witness Care Unit records, ensuring compliance with Data Protection

Key Skills

  • Clerical/Administrative experience

  • The use of IT to an intermediate level

  • Awareness of Data Protection

Full time position working Monday to Friday, office hours.
