37 1/2 hours per week Monday - Friday 9.00 - 5.00


£19,000pa - £23,000pa



The After Sales Advisor reports directly to the Commercial Manager, working within the After Sales team to attain all KPI's in line with company budget and company goals.


Key duties



  • Respond to incoming calls into the department and log new faults or requests as and when presented, document the outcome to facilitate swift and economic resolution. All calls to be logged with an initial return call to customer on the same day that it is presented.

  • Ensure that the vehicle faults and service system is updated and that the data available is in real time. Offer technical advice over the phone where possible.

  • Plan work for the engineers daily for work arriving on site and for visits directly to customer, ensure that customers are not waiting for more than 72 hours for a home visit.

  • Work directly with the company and provide regular updates with regard to progress and resolution of faults and issues

  • Work closely with production department in order to keep customers updated on fault progresses

  • Arrange vehicle transportation with internal colleagues and external companies, aim to get best cost and timeframes to suit the customers and the planning for workshop engineers.

  • Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints

  • Make appointments with customers to have their vehicles serviced, aim to tie in the service when the engineer is in the area on a fault visit to minimise costs

  • Make sure that all chargeable jobs are charged and invoiced correctly within the correct month and that all monies are paid
