We are currently working in partnership with a local council to recruit a temporary Asset Management Officer(14£/hr for 3 months):

You would be responsible for assisting with the and planning, programming and monitoring of all improvement programmes for the council's housing stock. You would also be responsible for the analysis of performance information with regards to Asset Management (such as Decent Homes, Satisfaction and completed capital works).

You would have to provide the Delivery team with the programming and stock data management and manage ongoing stock condition surveys to inform the programme's planning process.

You would have to maintain and develop the Asset Management database including compliance with changes to legislation and guidance, providing training and procedures.

You should have:

  • A good understanding of issues affecting local government including knowledge of government policy and initiatives affecting asset management.

  • Evidence of scenario planning in relation to programmes of work within a budget, scope, priority and restraints to achieve long-term and short-term objectives.

  • Advanced ITC skills including management of databases, reporting, and use of bespoke models and tools.

  • Housing-related qualifications e.g. CIH or construction-related qualifications such as HND

  • Experience with performance indicators and KPIs

  • Excellent attention to detail and competent analysis skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, both verbally and in writing
