If so read on, Adecco are proud to be working with a well established Company who are seeking an Assistant Production Manager to join their busy team.


Requirements:



  • Production experience

  • Computer literate

  • Experience within management or supervisory level


Duties:



  • Overseeing of the Production Line supervisors and Line Leaders to ensure they are carrying out their role effectively with regards to the business needs.

  • Encourage a team ethos with the ability to delegate and lead by example.

  • Dealing with matters relating to the department with regards to productivity, training, personnel matters, quality issues and health and safety in conjunction with your senior managers.

  • Taking on projects relating to Health and safety, COSHH, hygiene and training.

  • Covering other shift managers for holiday and sickness.

  • Overall management, training and motivation of staff members.

  • Ensuring all rules, policies and procedures are adhered to and ensuring that the building and equipment is kept clean and properly maintained.

  • Planning and managing the distribution of orders

  • Ensuring all customer orders are produced on time to a high quality


Location: Ashford


Salary: £24,336


Working days & hours: Hours will be 06:45 to 15:30 1 in 2 weekends with 2 days in lieu. Due to the nature of the role some flexibility will be expected due to the nature of the role. Shifts will include some bank holidays.
