Assistant Social Brand Manager

Do you have previous Social Brand Management experience? Are you available immediately and looking for an opportunity to work for a well known cosmetic beauty brand retailer? Have you got a passion for beauty? If yes then this maybe the role for you.

Our client is looking for an Assistant Social Brand Manager who will be responsible for the following:

  • Working collaboratively with Senior Social Brand Manager to build and successfully implement strategies that foster brand love, and scale brand engagement

  • Lead the content creation process, producing highly engaging and disruptive content that performs against the highest benchmarks

Duties of the role will include:

  • B2B: Nurture brand pro-influencer relationships, be the voice of the brand within our clients network, proactively engaging and fostering new connections to grow the community

  • Candiadate will be required to mobilise the community through social activations that drive brand mentions and engagement, and ultimately brand advocacy

  • B2C: Build and cultivate relationships with creators and influencers through the brand's social handles, focusing on rising talents and building new connections that can be onboarded into the brand's PR & Comms plans. Effectively manage contracts and content creation.

  • Supporting in creating highly engaging content for social (paid, organic - TikTok, YouTube, Insta), through user generated content & local content creation, as well as develop reactive content based on hot rising trends

  • You will support with briefs, content shoots, managing agency partners, supporting post-production, implementing best practices to ensure content meets performance benchmarks

  • Managing the content calendar and community management of all owned brand channels (local UK accounts) as well as UK brand moments across Global social channels.

  • Optimising internal and external social insights tools to measure performance as well as spot emerging trends for social brand activations. Keep on top of trends & social platform changes

  • Upskilling and educating the wider brand functions on the functionality and role of social to enhance collaboration and integrated results

Successful candidate will be required to have:

  • Comprehensive experience in Social & Content roles and managing multiple social platforms.

  • A track record in leading creation of high performing brand content

  • Experience in leading brand social strategy within the makeup sector.

  • Confidence with social analytics

  • Experience in working with and developing relationships with brand influencers.

  • Passion for beauty

  • Experience in the beauty industry is a bonus

Job Information

  • Monday - Friday (usual office hours approx. 9-5pm) flexibility needed

  • ASAP start

  • 1 year with potential extension / permanent

  • Very successful client

  • Hybrid working system - 2/3 days in office and rest work from home

  • Office based in Hammersmith
