Role: B2C Marketing Manager


Reporting to: Head of Marketing


Hours: Full time, 9am to 5pm (and as required to fulfil job requirements)


Location: London


Salary: £40,000

SUMMARY


You would be joining an innovative and talented marketing team! This role will drive strong revenue growth and end-user engagement across the whole portfolio of services; delivered through a combination of cloud-based SaaS technology, web portals and prepaid cards.



This role would suit someone with a strong target-driven background in eCommerce, communications, and marketing automation, with exceptional creative and copywriting skills. With some upcoming and exciting new features to launch; this role presents a great opportunity to grow and develop.



RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Strategic responsibility for the largest and fastest-growing B2C programme; driving traffic and sales through an employee savings and discounts portal against ambitious growth targets; including managing an email subscription list of over 300k members with multiple campaigns a week targeting acquisition, cross-sell, up-sell and re-engagement

  • Continually look for inspiration and creative, innovative ideas for new ways to engage audiences and become an expert at optimising each stage of the eCommerce buyer funnel

  • Working with the merchant relationships team to plan and implement compelling offers and promotions for top retail brands to drive merchant revenue

  • Manage a small team to ensure development and optimisation of eCRM and automation programmes and provide strategic input into the development of the marketing automation tool - Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Manage point of sale (POS) marketing and communication materials

  • Content manage retail promotions across prepaid card solutions through in-app promotions, eventually leading the development of an eCRM and push notification programme

  • Analyse and report back on KPIs to the business

REQUIREMENTS



  • Marketing-related degree or similar qualification preferred

  • Deep understanding of B2C marketing strategy and keen digital awareness (tech-savvy), preferably in an eCommerce environment

  • Ability to plan and juggle several projects and tasks at the same time; self-motivated and capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong ability to develop campaign messages and propositions is a must, including a demonstrable high standard of copy writing, with an excellent ability for storytelling, structure, spelling, grammar, and understanding of style, tone of voice and audience

  • A Master of Marketing automation; Salesforce Marketing Cloud useful, but experience using a similar tool is essential

  • Ability to manage databases and work with data and processes to drive personalised content and offer 100% quality assurance

  • Understanding of GDPR, PECR and ability to adapt to new regulation and best practise

  • Attention to detail is essential

  • Analytical and always looking for insight that will drive continual performance improvements

  • Great eye for brand and design

  • Basic to intermediate HTML will be required

  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience preferred

  • Confident with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
