A manufacturing background is desirable and experience with bid management, buyer, purchaser is also desirable.

Job Description

As a Bid Coordinator you will be responsible for the processing and compilation of strategic bids of significant value.

The Bid Coordinator role will involve:

  • Managing customer expectations in line with business requirements

  • Interfacing with customers on a commercial and technical level

  • Ensuring customer requirements are fully understood and strategy is clear to all

  • Articulating bid requirements to relevant internal departments

  • Liaising with global procurement and manufacturing facilities where required

  • Regularly reporting KPIs and quote status

  • Preparation of pricing matrices and analysis of financial metrics

For this role you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience working in a Customer Service / Sales environment with experience of putting together bids (preferably in a manufacturing or service environment)

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages

  • Highly numerate with aptitude to learn PC / business systems

  • Confident presenting to customers and senior management
