As a Body Shop Estimator you key responsibilities include

  • Asses and inspect both incoming and stock vehicles for damage.

  • Looking at the quickest and most cost-effective repair method.

  • Triage the damaged vehicles into the correct lanes ready for the repairs to commence.

  • Must have a good understanding of modern repair techniques and smart repair processes.

  • Liaise with the Body-shop manager working closely together maximising Body-shop throughout.

  • Prepare computerised estimates using the hippo repair matrix.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in Body shop repairs and estimation

  • Relevant qualification in Body shop paint procedures

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision

  • Full and valid UK driving licence
