Adecco Recruitment are currently recruiting for on behalf of our client, an experienced BookKeeper to work for a well established, successful and growing business based in Carnforth.


Our client has an immediate vacancy working at their UK Headquarters. The role is responsible for providing bookkeeping support by liaising with the sales teams to record all company spending, including purchases, invoices and sales for filing of accounts.


Salary £21-30K dependent on experience
Full time hours Mon-Fri



Primary Purpose of Role



To provide to bookkeeping support to company sites. Liaising with the sales team(s) to record all company spending, including purchases, invoices and sales and to provide accurate information on company outgoings for the purposes of filing accounts. A bookkeeper will be organised, efficient and skilled at keeping track of the various types of spending by the company. This is a fast-growing business, and the role will evolve as the business grows.














Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities



Bank Reconciliations












































































Sales ledger



� Daily cash posting



� Raising and emailing daily sales invoices



� Daily debtors reviews - ensuring discrepancies are picked up timely and rectified



� Processing credit notes and refunds - offering challenge where required



� First point of contact for payment/invoices queries



Credit Control



� Proactive follow up with credit customers ensuring payment terms are met



� Daily credit control activities



� Reporting any debt challenges to finance manager



Purchase Ledger



� Management of multiple accounts email inboxes



� Obtaining relevant approval for non-purchase order invoices



� Processing of all approved invoices matching to purchase orders



� Reconciliations of supplier statements



� Producing a bi-weekly suggested payment run



� First point of contact for payment/invoices queries















Key Performance Measures



. Accurate timely financial reporting.
