£35,000- £40,000 - based on experience


Adecco are looking to recruit a Branch Manager for our client based in Oldbury you will be accountable for the day to day operations and carrying out managerial and administrative functions. Maintains communication between staff and senior management team. You will drive revenue, manage risks within the branch and continue to build business, assuming accountability for the branch sales and financial results. You will also provide support, guidance and training to staff.


  • Responsible for all operational aspects of the branch, including distribution operations, customer service, human resources administration and sales.

  • Develop a branch business plan that aligns with the company goals.

  • Participate in business planning.

  • Provide direction on projects within the branch.

  • To comply with the Key Performance Indicators relevant to the role of Branch Manager and actively engage in the monthly KPI review process; to include producing the relevant evidence as required under the KPI process.

  • Maintain awareness of current capability/knowledge levels of all team members.

  • Ensure order entry and invoicing is accurate and up to date.

  • Ensure the quality of work is consistent and complies with standards.

  • Support post sale effort by maintaining good client relations, high customer satisfaction levels and assisting in identifying ongoing opportunities.

  • Responsible for following supervisory procedures as outlined in the Branch Managers Guide.

  • Maintains communication between the branch and management by preparing weekly and monthly reports regarding operations and productivity.

  • Share knowledge with other branches and head office on effective practices and or lessons learnt.

  • Formulates recommendations and provides feedback to management regarding operational policies and procedures.

  • Maintains control over audit procedures to ensure compliance with controls. If weaknesses identified, reports them to the Senior Management team.

  • Ensures that the branch is compliant with legislation, regulations and other regulatory agencies.

  • Monitors branch activity, including number of transactions, sales volume etc.

  • Leads proactively by identifying trends, potential areas for growth and weaknesses and addressing these areas, in order to positively position the branch within the geographical market.

  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the company products and services; using this knowledge to provide resource and direction in order to drive sales.

  • Builds an effective team in the branch by continuously communicating relevant information on a timely basis and conducting regular meetings.

  • Provides training to staff in regards to operations, policy and health & safety.

  • Responsible for recruiting, inducting training and reviewing performance of all new staff.

  • Evaluates staff performance, hi lighting areas for improvement and implementing appropriate corrective action.

  • Address customer complaints/issues promptly.

  • Comply with the company's policies and procedures as set out within the Employee Handbook, Accreditations Manual (including Best Practice Quality Guide) and the Health and Safety Manual, as updated from time to time.

  • Comply with the requirements for the role as set out within the company's Integrated Management System (currently comprising of the Quality Management System, Environmental Management System and the Health and Safety Management System), as updated from time to time.

  • Comply with the requirements of any Core Duties or other relevant procedural or policy document applicable to your role.

  • The post holder must also undertake other duties within his/her competence or otherwise appropriate to the grading of the post as required.
