Business Analyst


3 months (possible extension)


£350 per day - umbrella - PAYE also available


Mostly working from home with occasional office visits (Croydon)


The Business Analyst will be responsible for the methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of specific aspects of the Cloud and DR Programme deliverable, namely the reconciliation of the client file services repository.


Know how to develop detailed business requirements and translate them into workable and implementable technology solutions Know how to develop use cases and user stories to help define the business needs Know how to support the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products Developing and organising appropriate training for end users prior to go-live

Identifying and organizing appropriate post implementation support for end users working with end users to continuously improve systems and leverage additional benefits over the life of a system

Know how to create clear and concise process maps as swim lanes or flow charts how to use graphical tools (e.g. Visio, Lucid Chart etc.) to represent required artefacts

Good understanding on use of presentation tools such as Keynote and PowerPoint


This entails, interrogation of the File Services environment (alongside tool generated outputs) to establish the status and ownership of content; identify and work with key stakeholders to either retain, delete or archive said File Services content.


Excellent presentation skills and understanding of the psychology of persuasion and influence



Working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment developing business cases

Developing detailed business requirements and translating these into workable and implementable technology solutions

Identifying and organising appropriate post implementation support for end users

Build an empathetic relationship with the business in designing solutions that achieve the agreed outcomes.

Work closely with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements for enabling business change through the implementation of new systems or the enhancement of existing systems.

Facilitate collaborative design sessions involving key business users and service providers.
