Adecco's specialist Property Services Division North are delighted to be partnering exclusively with Wakefield Housing District to assist them in recruiting a Business Analyst on a permanent basis to work out of their offices located in Wakefield.


The post holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of strategic asset management, sustainability and regeneration management information; by producing collecting and analysing data to identify and recommend efficiencies and improvements;

The business analyst will report into the Decarbonisation Manager.


  • be responsible for the collation, analysis and management of all data and information required by the Sustainability and Regeneration teams, as required by senior management, service director, Business Leaders and other team members for a variety of purposes, such as to inform business cases/future programmes of work

  • produce and analyse management information to support Business Leaders and identify and recommend efficiencies and operational improvements;

  • model, analyse and interpret energy performance data to understand potential energy improvements which could be made to properties to improve EPC rating and decarbonise housing stock

  • prepare written and statistical analysis for the Sustainability and Regeneration management team and internal customers; be responsible for the quality and accuracy of such documents;

  • work with the Asset Management team to identify and drive the development of the sustainability and regeneration systems capability to improve business processes/ efficiencies

  • maintain awareness of, and compliance with, legislation, regulation and statutory obligations relevant to the service and the social housing sector in addition to WDH policies and procedures such as those relating to information governance/security, sustainability, asset management, finance, procurement, health and safety and risk management

  • provide accurate and complete documentation including specifications, data or process flow charts, business cases;

Candidate requirements

  • Must be a people person and the ability work across multiple teams and stakeholders

  • Level 5 qualification - Bachelor's Degree, HND, HNC or any other qualification relevant to the field

  • Strong data analysis and processing skills, such as data sourcing and inputting, data interpretation and have the ability to produce accurate reports and charts.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • "Can do" attitude and be proactive

  • Experience at least 1-2 years
