This position is a key role within our clients Commercial Department and will involve supporting the Business Development team by active identifying and securing new client accounts, developing business relationships to generate sales with new clients and effective contract implementation activity with the customer services team. In summary the role will entail outbound telesales and new business generation, coordination of customer quotations and tenders. Handling, processing, and coordination all inbound opportunities.

Duties included

  • To develop and close new business opportunities via telesales.

  • Coordinating and processing of all in-bound enquiries for small to medium enterprises

  • Customer communications / documentation for quotations & tenders Coordinate customer account and testing set-up proposals. Supporting / follow-up on marketing campaigns.

  • Production of weekly / monthly revenue & activity reports in-line with business requirements

  • Effectively targeting businesses using a range of approaches including cold calling

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers.

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.

  • Looking for link selling opportunities which will increase client spend.

  • Identify new business opportunities including notification portal management, completing tender responses and using labour market intelligence where required.

  • Producing client quotes and proposals

  • Increase sales year on year by proactively monitoring and developing new opportunities.

  • Plan business activities and manage your work schedule to ensure time management is effective.

  • Manage and maintain a pipeline, ensuring all sales administration is correctly maintained using in-house bespoke systems.

  • Undertake needs analysis with prospective and new clients to identify their needs and work proactively to find appropriate solutions to their needs.

  • Work as part of the Business Development team towards department KPI's and targets to ensure success.

  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Attend Networking and Marketing events

  • General administration, including respond to emails, producing sales reports and data.
