Business Development Executive

We are currently recruiting for our fantastic, leading edge Ipswich based client who are looking for a proactive Business Development Executive to join their team on a permanent basis. This a great opportunity for somebody who is technically minded and who is interested in developing their sales experience! You can't be afraid to get in front of clients, both face to face, virtually and over the phone so confidence is key! It is essential that you have a full driving licence and your own car, as there will be a requirement to travel around some of the UK once trained!

What is the offer?

  • Salary of £25,000, plus a commission-based bonus scheme depending on sales targets

  • Monday to Friday position, 8.30am-5pm

  • 3-6 months full training!

The role

  • 3-6 months intensive training to learn our clients' products, services, and technical details

  • Business development through various means, phone, virtual meetings, and on-site meetings

  • Arranging appointments to discuss products and services with existing and new clients

  • Maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure sales targets are being hit and they are happy with the service

  • Building relationships with new clients to establish opportunities for sales

  • Administration tasks alongside this as required

What do we need from you?

  • Flexibility - happy to travel to see clients across the UK when required

  • Full drivers' licence (all mileage and expenses will be paid)

  • Career driven - we are looking for somebody who would like to start their career with our client and continue, there are so many opportunities to grow!

  • Confidence - this is so important to speak to clients and build relationships

  • A technical mind - our client work in a technical field so you would need to be able to learn and grasp their products and services to a high level

  • Experience in sales isn't necessary, however if you are at the start of your sales career and want to develop further, this is definitely for you!
