Secure, build, maintain and exploit your allocated patch of the company's existing and prospect customers in order to achieve maximum revenue and profitability.

Take responsibility for handling the enquiries that are nonstandard, providing solutions, dealing with any problems and providing them with a ready and positive point of contact.

Role responsibilities:

  • Keep in regular contact with all customers by means of telesales (supported by written communication where necessary) to provide them with information and assess their disposition towards the company with a view to bringing about greater loyalty

  • Form client contract agreements (CCAs) with customers where needed

  • Deal with non-standard customer problems and seek to resolve completely

  • Create and fulfil client appointment opportunities, following agreed procedures to ensure a clear understanding of each 'value proposition'.

  • Follow up all appointments within 24hrs with clear and concise written Proposal which clearly offers specific solutions to their needs

  • Follow up all Proposals persistently to achieve maximum conversion success rate

  • Attend weekly 121 meetings with the Sales Manager to review collective and area targets, discuss any new customer or difficult prospects, pool ideas, and be accountable for anything else expected of you

  • Analyse monthly customer sales report to identify customer trends and act on declining or underutilised accounts wherever possible

  • Make quarterly review of all relevant Client Rebate Agreements and ensure fulfilment - adjust as necessary

  • Maintain customer database to a high standard to enable postal and email marketing material to be sent to them

  • Check customer invoice batch on a monthly basis and approve for Accounts Receivable Manager.

Systems knowledge;

MS Outlook, Word & Excel (Proficient)

Syrinx hire programme (Expert)

Candidate must have experience in telemarketing/ sales or construction sector. Must hold a full and valid UK driving license.
