Client Job Description



Working for a well established and growing organisation you will be working field based within a busy sales team.



This is a New Business Role, and your task will be to develop relationships and generate opportunities within a variety of sectors including Automotive, Utilities, Healthcare, Transport, Manufacturing, Retail, & Public Sector



You will be instrumental in developing, implementing and managing your commercial sales strategy identifying opportunity, and so previous experience of selling UPS systems into the sectors highlighted above would be advantageous.



To be successful you will need the ability to secure both standalone projects and accounts that will produce regular repeat business.



You will ideally have:



Comprehensive commercial experience and a demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets selling UPS systems and associated services into the non data centre market.


Good technical understanding of UPS Systems.


Possess a high level of general sales skills: -



- Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets


- Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing


- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings


- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives


- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events


- Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays


- Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company's products


- Developing quotes, proposals & tender bids


- Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person



Skills Required



Experience of recognising and developing opportunities, growing repeat business clients, and securing standalone projects


Ability to recognise customer requirements, both commercial and technical to ensure exact fit of our solutions


Experience of working with principal vendors and developing strategic partnerships


Good Industry knowledge with excellent articulation, presentation and negotiating skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels up to and including C-level.



This role is field based and offers a competitive salary of between £28-33k plus OTE
