Business Development Representative (BDR) EMEA Region


BDRs play a critical role in the success of our Business Development Team. As a BDR you will be responsible for generating new business across our enterprise target accounts by leveraging prospecting strategies to identify and qualify suitable decision makers.


The primary focus of this role is to identify, engage with and qualify prospects for our Sales Reps through your own activities, as well as leads that will come to you via our internal marketing strategies.


The ideal candidate will be creative, proactive, analytical and have a desire to help grow our business while adding value to our customer base.


Primary Responsibilities


� Develop an account plan and prospecting strategies for target accounts, working closely with Sales Reps and peers.


� Identify prospects within target accounts who align to our persona's.


� Enrich prospects with contact details leveraging B2B contact databases.


� Convert prospects into sales opportunities through outbound prospecting activities and qualification processes.


� Leverage prospect engagement to refine prospecting strategies created for each account to maximise ROI.


� Nurturing prospects who you have qualified however are not ready to enter an active sales cycle, building relationships so that when budget becomes available you can convert.


� Full understanding and positioning of our products and services, clearly articulating across verbal and written channels how we add value to each of our target persona's.



Desired and demonstrable candidate attributes


� Professional level fluency in English.


� Superior communication skills focusing on the ability to effectively interact with other


members of senior management, the Business Development Team, and prospects on an individual and group basis.


� Excellent presentation skills, the ability to probe for information, digest, and accurately and confidently reply to prospects and clients in a professional manner


� Proven ability to sell and overcome obstacles in the sales process; feels comfortable handling objections and providing solutions


� Motivated, self-starter with a results driven personality/business approach


� Ability to continuously learn, understand and utilize business marketing and technology concepts, client server technology concepts, enterprise solutions, e-commerce, intranet and complex technical solutions to compliment the role
