JOB TITLE: Business Improvement Officer
LOCATION: Bromley, London
PAY RATE: £150 per day (Umbrella)
DURATION: 3 months minimum
IR35 STATUS: Inside


To support Commissioning and Procurement Programme Management team in the development of commissioning services in line with the 'Commissioning Strategy including the terms, structure, contract documentation and business modelling.

To lead on data and information management for the Commissioning and Procurement team.

Daily activities include:

  • Supporting Change Management project work within Children's and Environmental Services

  • Commission and carry out service reviews, redesign activities, workshops, Business Process Mapping

  • Benchmarking and data gathering

  • Robust project management support

  • Ensuring a consistent way of working

  • Effective communication and engagement with the service departments

  • Overseeing Procurement/re-tendering exercises

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Change Management Experience

  • Business Process Mapping

  • Knowledge around Children's and Environmental Services

  • Local Authority Experience

  • Transformation Experience

  • Project and Programme Management qualification
