JOB DESCRIPTION



Main purpose of the Job:


As part of a growing multi sector sales team utilising your first-rate telephone and verbal communication skills you will be responsible for following up and progressing sample, stock and price enquiries thus developing new business leads. As an office based BDM, you should be able to manage, understand and influence clients and key stakeholders whilst working to help bring multiple projects to point of order.


Key Responsibilities:


· Working within an established framework of pre-defined sales activities to achieve specific objectives


· Building positive relationships with clients across multiple sectors, over phone and email


· Building good working relationships and co-operating with your colleagues at the head office and the external sales team.


· Successfully project managing enquiries to convert them to sales or ensuring "qualified" quotations and leads are communicated to external sales i.e. determining if this has the maximum prospect of securing an order.


· Assisting and supporting the external sales team with client enquiries


· Maintaining an up-to-date CRM system






Previous Experience and Requirements:



· Good educational qualifications


· Although this is not a typical high pressure/cold call sales role or environment a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in telesales or telemarketing would be highly beneficial.


· An ambitious and well-presented individual with good attention to detail


· Excellent communication skills - clear and accurate spoken and written English


· Resilient and persistent but not a "nuisance"


· Confident people skills, able to build a rapport remotely with new clients, whilst being attentive to longer term relationships


· Proven ability to plan, manage and execute multiple tasks and projects
