Adecco are looking to recruit a Business Support Manager to work on behalf of our Client in Bolton, on a Temporary basis, for around 3 months.

The right Candidate will provide leadership and direction to the service as well as providing operational and business support to the service. This will include playing a key role in identifying opportunities for clinical innovation and modernisation, the delivery of nationally set operational and clinical performance targets, waiting list and financial/budget management.

Main duties & areas of responsibility:

  • In collaboration with other provider organisations and commissioners, you will be responsible and accountable for the formulation of new service developments, preparing bids and ensuring business cases are produced for service developments.

  • To attend meetings, internally and externally where necessary.

  • To respond to all complaints in accordance with Trust policy.

  • Develop events, newsletters, web bulletins, posters and flyers.

  • Negotiate and influence at all levels of the organisation to ensure deadlines are met and high-quality outcomes are delivered.

  • Undertake project management roles as required.

  • To produce written business cases for service improvements.

  • To analyse and act on activity data.

  • You will be responsible for providing training for all staff regarding targets, pathways and service developments.

  • To pro-activity manage attendance at work in accordance with trust policy.

  • Participate in identifying cost improvement across the division.

  • Co-ordinate departmental audits.


  • Degree in relevant professional study/equivalent experience Management and leadership skills training and qualification.


  • Human Resources Management experience in an appropriate management role within a health care related setting.

  • Writing policies and guidelines.

  • Leadership and accountability for performance management.

  • Quality assurance/peer review processes.

  • Budget management.

  • Working collaboratively with key stakeholders across organisations.


  • Cancer pathways and targets.

  • Recruitment and selection processes.

  • Project management methodologies.


  • The right Candidate will need to have access to a car

  • To have the ability to work flexible hours and at the weekends based on the needs of the service

  • You will need a reliable work record

  • A DBS clearance is essential.

Additional details:

Bolton Based

37.5 hours per week
