LOCAL AUTHORITY WITHIN BROMLEY (BR1)


3 MONTH TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT WITH POTENTIAL OF BEING ONGOING

The role is mainly for the setup of social care case panels, reviewing care packages and funding.



SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:



  • To co-ordinate appointments, attend and minute funding and service panels. Ensuring that all funding approvals remain current.

  • To undertake the booking of rooms and scheduling of diary appointments for panel/PRG members.

  • To provide advance schedules of panel dates and cases to be reviewed to care managers and social work team managers to ensure that they can organise availability of case holding staff for the meetings.

  • To ensure, with team colleagues, that all database systems are maintained and amended for changes in legal status, classifications, and any other details to ensure accurate client and service user information is held on databases.

  • To support the Finance and Business Team Leader and service managers in the review of procedures and processes in respect of case management meetings.

  • To participate in a rota of panel support with other business support officers, covering where necessary for sickness and annual leave.



Candidate must:



  • Have Local authority experience

  • Experience minuting of panels or meetings

  • Have a high level of understanding of confidentiality, accuracy of minutes and ability to organise themselves and documentation is critical.
