JOB DESCRIPTION



A local Authority within Bromley are recruiting for a Business Support Office to join the fast paced Adult Safeguarding Team. You will be part of a busy vibrant team supporting safeguarding and complaints staff and you will be skilled in the use of excel and word Microsoft packages and able to work independently.

You will be assisting a busy quality assurance team, being quick and resourceful is important and crucial to supporting the work of the Bromley Safeguarding Adults Board. You must be willing and able to tackle a variety of topics at any one time and produce work that requires a quick turnaround. The work is varied and you must have an interest in adult social care. Below please find the main duties of the post:


� The role is to provide professional business support to the Safeguarding, Practice and Quality Improvement Service


� Prepare and present information to be used in reports


� Undertake preparation for adult safeguarding board and executive meetings; co-ordinate dates; update Outlook calendar; arrange venues; collate information; produce and distribute agendas as required; ensure all information is available prior to the meetings and prepare venues in advance


� Must be skilled in the use of excel and word Microsoft packages.


� Produce work that requires a quick turnaround.


� Produce and distribute minutes of meetings; ensure that all decisions are recorded and that minutes are distributed within agreed timescales


� Produce monitoring data and analysis of statistics as required


� Monitor the progress of case files audits


� Undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of the post, as required to ensure the efficient and effective running of the Safeguarding, Practice and Quality Improvement Service.
