Order Fulfilment Specialist

This rolling contracting role is working for our client based to the east of Ipswich and plays a pivotal part in their successes.


This role is part of the Order Fulfilment team supporting the business in raising purchasing orders and delivering production. The role requires the post-holder to cooperate with the clean room as well as lab areas, receiving and clarifying procurement requirement from engineers, and managing the order status regularly.


* Prioritising and taking action on incoming purchase requests; Liaising with internal stakeholders to review and clarify requirements


* Inputting data onto systems to raise purchase ordering in a timely and proper way.


* Ensuring the timely delivery of goods or services purchased from suppliers by tracking order regularly.


* Cooperate with finance team and receive orders in time to avoid overdue invoices.


* Resolving any scheduling difficulties, taking preventative action to avoid reoccurrence


* Using ERP system to deal with production delivery related procedures.


* Cooperate with Fab material management team to manage the material stock and order status.


* Report order status regularly especially for important Capex. This job description is only an outline of the responsibilities and outcomes required of the role. * Minimum of bachelor degree, preferably in Physics, Electronic Engineering, optoelectronics subjects.


Previous purchasing and order delivery experience.


* Experienced user in relevant office software and Information Management System, with ability to maintain the data in different ledger. Skills and Competencies


* Good capability levels in analysis and interpretation of data, being able to draw qualitative conclusions.


* Fluently written and spoken English and Chinese Mandarin.


* A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.


* Be able to be discreet when dealing with confidential information.


* Good planning and organising skills to multitask and Independent and well-structured working style with a hands-on, can-do attitude.


* Self-motivated, be proactive going beyond the call of duty, have a keen eye for detail, be result-oriented, and have an ability to work stay calm under pressure and in uncertainty inspiring.
