*PERMANENT* Emergency Response Call Handler

Based in Exeter or Ashburton - Opportunity for Hybrid working once fully trained

£20,590p.a rising to £21,400 p.a once fully trained + Additional Shift allowance on weekends & anti-social hours

Full Time, 40 or 32 hrs pw.

Flexible shift work on a rota basis. Core Office hours are 6am-10pm, 7 Days a week

Excellent PERMANENT job Opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company that provides essential care to those who are vulnerable. Working within the emergency response unit of a stable company a successful candidate will be the first point of contact for incoming calls. These may be customers using the Emergency help function so individuals will need to be able to respond quickly & appropriately.Daily duties will include:

  • Deal appropriately with callers who may be emotional, distressed, vulnerable, or in crisis and deciding on the right course of action

  • Provide information, advice and guidance to queries from customers

  • Carry out quick risk assessments for every contact received

  • Provide out of hours troubleshooting & advice for customers

  • Accurately record actions taken on customer records using internal computer systems

  • Provide excellent customer service to customers who may be setting up or testing their device
