Adecco are proud to be working with a local School who are looking for a new Catering Manager to join their team, see below:


Job Title: Catering Manager


Location: Ashford, Kent


Salary: £20,997 to £22,918


Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:



  • Be responsible for providing nutritious, healthy and good quality meals for our staff and children.

  • Manage the delivery of the catering operation.

  • Preparing and serve good quality food.

  • Use catering equipment and leave the environment clean after every session

  • Act as Line Manager to the catering staff across the trust

  • Ensure the service and standards provided meet the requirements, objectives and policies of the academy.

  • Contribute ideas to the development and improvement of the catering service.


Experience and skills required for this position:



  • Have relevant Catering qualification/s

  • Ordering of ingredients and managing stock levels.

  • Experience working in a large school kitchen or catering environment

  • The desire to serve good quality food

  • A good team player, flexible and prepared to use their initiative

  • Someone who enjoys working with children

  • Someone that can work independently and within a team

  • Be committed to their own professional development

  • Have good interpersonal skills

  • Have good organisational skills

  • An Enhanced DBS check (will be carried out by employer if successful)
