We have an exciting opportunity to work with a top university based in Central London. This is a temporary position starting ASAP until the end of December. We are looking to recruit a Central Badging Officer. This role is paying £12.22 per hour. This is a Fully campus-based role.

The overall skills and experience that we think are required to do this role are:

  • You will also be working closely as part of the Security Management Team and in partnership (i) internally with Human Resources / IMT /LSE academic departments and (ii) externally with contactors.

  • The post holder will be able to work productively as part of a team and also be able to prioritise tasks and work with minimal direct supervision, to plan service delivery, conduct services and report orally and in writing on matters relating to the management of campus access and the secure management of personal data

  • To ensure that the SLA are being met through continuous monitoring and reviewing.

  • Work with all stakeholders to provide and maintain the defined service level in a proactive and positive manner.

  • To assess the service provision to make recommendations for improvement.

  • Participate in bedding-in potential service provision changes.

  • Proactively support the School's sustainability and environmental agenda whilst undertaking the role and be aware of how the operation of the administrative functions impacts on the area.

  • The post holder will be responsible for continuous process improvement in their area to better the customer journey and make administrative practices more efficient.

  • To be a proactive team member participating in all areas of the day to day and long term running of the Division.

  • To understand the common goal of the team and bear responsibility for ensuring the CBO runs smoothly and all tasks are performed in an appropriate and timely manner.

  • To be positive in approach and demonstrate an enthusiastic and effective work ethic with the focused on achieving high standards, and then maintaining and improving those standards.

  • To work together with internal /external staff as required, in meeting the service level expectations as far as possible.

  • Work within a set of standards and comply with reasonable requests from supervisors.

  • To liaise with other members of the team with regard to efficiently solving problems raised by customers,
