Our client, a leading Insurance and Pension company have implemented an exciting new project partnering the IT team and Operations team to standardise and simplify the organisation. They need a Change and Engagement Coordinator to fully complete the successful roll out of this.

Role details:

  • Job Title: Change and Engagement Coordinator

  • Pay rate: £13.82/hr

  • Start Date: ASAP (pending vetting)

  • Role length: 3 months

As part of the IT Strategy, the client is working towards building the Workforce of the Future with a simplified and standardised organisation and where people can grow themselves and take charge of their careers so that the client can function and support the clients growth ambitions

Over the past 18 months, the client has rolled out an operating model with a simplified work architecture. This has enabled them to simplify their role profiles globally a great deal. In turn, this has enabled them to identify and embed into the role profiles globally consistent technical capabilities, using the Skills Framework for the Information Age framework. They are now rolling out the tools and processes to enable colleagues to profile themselves against their capabilities, look at other roles in the structure and identify and plan their career and development journey.

Role purpose:

The client needs to engage with people in multiple locations, in multiple languages, using a wide variety of methods and channels. Your experience in technical writing and events co-ordination will ensure that everything that they do to engage and include their colleagues is consistent and useful to those involved, that everyone gets included regardless of location or language

Responsibilities of the Role

  • Edit and write content for, and co-ordinate the delivery of, different engagement materials - everything from Outlook communications to learning materials. These will be a mixture of updates, technical guides, HR/ Manager Guides and Career Development content.

  • Work with our Internal Communications team to ensure a consistent voice across communications.

  • Work with the markets to co-ordinate translation of different learning and communication materials.

  • Working with the project and internal communications team to organise engagement events, co-ordinating logistics and suggesting ideas to increase effectiveness.

Key Performance Indicators for the role:

  • Delivery of and support for engaging global communications and events, that work for every function and region.

  • Work with internal comms and the project team to measure success of engagement and learning materials

  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different functions and markets

  • Engage with and suggest strategies for using social media (internal forums/ Yammer) to create additional engagement

  • Build and maintain positive relationships across the client

  • Collaborate with colleagues across Global Technology to build solutions

  • Seek and provide appropriate feedback to drive continuous improvement

Advantageous experience

  • Writing experience across different mediums

  • Experience in coordinating internal events

  • Highly organised and detail oriented

  • Experience building engagement using social media would be highly advantageous

  • Strong communication, interviewing and communication skills

  • Highly IT literate and confident with common operating systems and programmes
